Bespoke Sliding Door Repair Stockport

A bit of a different job then what we usually do. Really interesting to know what powers these.

A client of ours had requested that we take a look at a bespoke sliding textured wall that would no longer move. – Leaving them with no access to get cars in and out of the showroom.

Following a site survey we diagnosed that the wall was actually a bespoke made, 6000mm x 6000mm square gate made from 10mm thick steel, framed out with timber and finally cladded with the textured panel finish.

Though it is an impressive design, the weight had not been calculated correctly and floor level had not been taken in to account. This pushing it over the motor force/weight capacity and therefore causing it to fail.

Fortunately with in house knowledge and expertise on our side, we were able to recommend the correct motor/wheel types, and the necessary adjustments required to get the wall fully operational and restore access to the busy showroom.

Another job well done and testament to our dedicated team that are prepared to work through the night to meet our client needs!
