Our prices are inclusive of site installation to prepared structural openings, which must be capable of accepting the weight of the door assembly together with all applicable fixings without cracking or distortion.

Client to provide and to have completed the following unless specifically / stated otherwise:

  • All structural and secondary steelwork/builders work
  • A level finished floor in line with door openings
  • All work is assumed to be at ground floor level
  • Powered access (at working heights exceeding 3000mm)
  • Correct power supply to be in place prior to our attendance.
  • Lifting equipment (i.e.: forklift) to be available at all times (ask if required)
  • One continuous, uninterrupted visit for the duration of our works
  • Security to openings (if required) where the removal of existing doors is included within our offer. (ask if required)
  • Removal and/or reinstatement of all necessary fixtures/fittings and security devices
  • Wiring of any cables in conduit to be done by others. Unless specified at quotation stage.
  • Any making good to be done by others i.e.: sealing, skirting, cladding, soffits etc. unless included in our quote.

Please Note: Should any of the above not be completed/in place prior to our commencement on site, resulting in additional hours or the need to return to site out of our agreed continuous visit(s), any extra hours or return visits will be fully chargeable in addition the agreed quoted works (Unless stated/agreed at quotation stage).

Hand Tools

Power is required for 110v hand tools.

Normal Working Hours

This quotation is based upon carrying out the installation in one continuous uninterrupted visit during normal working hours (8.00 am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday). Work requested to be completed outside of these hours will be quoted as an extra.

First Time Customer

As a first time customer, we require a minimum upfront payment of 50% with the remaining balance due upon completion of the works and prior to our engineer leaving site.

Credit Account Customer

Your credit limit is £5000.  Any works required which would exceed this credit limit, we will require a minimum upfront payment of 50% with the remaining balance due upon completion of the works and prior to our engineer leaving site.

Fox Doors operate a genuine 24 hour 365 days a year call out service.

We understand that it is vital to get your doors operational as quickly as possible which is why we have an engineer on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All our engineers are competent and highly skilled and all repairs and service vehicles are fully equipped to deal with the majority of calls at the first visit.

As part of our service, we keep up to date with all relevant legislation and ensure that no corners are cut in maintaining your security equipment.

We are well acquainted with the relevant British Standard for our field (BS EN 13241-1:2003), and our work will give you security provision in line with this EU directive. Covering industrial, commercial and garage doors, as well as gates and barriers, this prescribes the standards to which products must conform. We will draw up a maintenance schedule and keep service records to demonstrate your company’s compliance with this requirement.

Our maintenance contracts are available to you regardless of whether you have purchased our products or not.

With a Fox Doors maintenance contract in place not only will you be complying with the current regulations but we will also ensure the following:

  • Priority on all emergency call outs within hours or out of hours.
  • Priority on all repair work needed
  • You will receive a detailed report following each service giving a detailed description of any repairs needed to bring you back within the guidelines.
  • Discount on all repair materials needed.

24 Hour Call Out Service

All calls are answered by a member of our team day or night. On all call outs we will help you gain entry if needed and ensure you are secure when you need to leave.

We cover a large area of the UK and aim to be on site with you within the hour where possible. If you door is in need of urgent repair, or you have been subject to an incident requiring emergency materials with our stock range and supplier priority ourselves we promise to leave you in a non vunerable state.
